Gunnar Halvorsen

Gunnar Halvorsen ( born July 24, 1945 in Arendal, † 6 March 2006) was a Norwegian politician. He was a member of the Arbeiderparti.

Halvorsen was in the period 1979-1983 Mayor of Åmli. He was elected a deputy of the Norwegian Parliament ( Storting ) 1993. During his deputies he was part of various committees ( Committee of Defense, Election Committee, Economic Committee, extended foreign policy committee ).
