Gunnar Holmberg

Gunnar Josef Agaton Holmberg ( born May 6, 1897 in Gothenburg, † 21 October 1975, in Borås ) was a Swedish football player.

Holmberg played for GAIS. Between 1924 and 1930 he appeared in 94 games for the club in Allsvenskan, scoring four goals. Holmberg denied 1922-1927 twelve caps for the Swedish national team. At the Olympic Games in 1924, he belonged to the squad of the national selection and won the bronze medal.
