Günter Bittengel

Günter Bittengel (* July 14, 1966 in Prague ) is a former Czech football player and current coach.

Playing career

Bittengel began in 1976 at Dukla Prague. In the 1985/86 season, the striker made ​​the jump from youth into the first team. Starting 1986/87 he was a regular player and also came to his first race for the Czechoslovakian national team. In 1991, Bittengel to the 2nd Bundesliga for Bayer Uerdingen in which he was used regularly. 1992/93 and 1994 to 1996 he played with the Krefeldern in the Bundesliga.

In early 1997, he joined the then second division side Chmel Blšany with which he ascended into the Gambrinus League 1998. After the 2000/01 season in which he completed only two compulsory games, Bittengel moved to a small suburb of Prague SK Černolice, finish off her career at the many well-known players.

Coaching career

In the 2001 /02 season he took over on 14 Matchday Chmel Blšany, he also led in the following season. After the tenth Round 2003/ 04 the club parted from him, Bittengel took place a few weeks later at Viktoria Zizkov a new location. However, could not prevent the descent of the team, the contract was not renewed. 2004/ 05 trained Bittengel the SC Xaverov Horni Počernice in the 3rd League CFL, with whom he was second and ascended into the second league. 2005/ 06 took Bittengel the fourth division SK Union Čelákovice. For the 2006/07 season came Bittengel to the coach of FK Dukla Prague. In December 2009 Bittengel moved to the position of sporting director.
