Gurdwara Baba Atal

The Gurdwara Baba Atal is a Sikh shrine in Amritsar, Punjab. He is not far from the Golden Temple and is within walking distance from there. The temple was built some two centuries ago and is used Baba Atal Rai the memory of the son of Guru Har Gobind. The nine stories of the building are to remember the nine years of life Baba Atal Rai's until his untimely death in 1628.
