Gustav Gottheil

Gustav Gottheil ( born May 28, 1827 in Pinneberg, † April 15, 1903 in New York) was Reform rabbi in New York.

He studied and worked initially under Samuel Holdheim, later in Manchester, 1873 at Temple Emanu -El in New York.

He was the father of Richard Gottheil.
