Guy Deutscher (linguist)

German Guy (born 1969 in Tel Aviv) is an Israeli linguist.

Life and work

German et al studied linguistics and mathematics at Cambridge University, where he completed his studies with a doctorate. Then he searched for some time at St. John 's College on ancient language structures.

German was a Fellow at Leiden University and returned after some time back to the UK. Currently (2010) teaches German as Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Manchester.
