Guy Williams (equestrian)

Guy Robert Williams ( born July 11, 1971) is a British show jumper.

Career

1974 Williams got his first pony. In 1999 he went to America and rode for Margie Goldstein. A year later he went back to England and bought a farm there. 2002, 2003 and 2005, he won the Hickstead Speed ​​Derby Be Precise. In 2003, he also ruled the Grand Prize at the Horse of the Year Show for itself. In 2009 he won with Torinto the Sunshine Tour and the Global Champions Tour stage in Arezzo. In December 2009 he was a show jumper of the Month. In 2010 he won the British Open and the British Jumping Derby.

In June 2011, he was ranked 44 in the world rankings and is therefore internationally the currently the third most successful British show jumper. In the national ranking of the British Association he was in June 2011 on the first rank.
