Güzelkent, Sinop

Güzelkent is a place on the Black Sea coast of Turkey, about 80 km west of the provincial capital of Sinop. It connects with its forests and landscapes, the countryside, with the sea, so the Blue. History

By joining villages Helaldi, Kes, Tacahmet, Yusuflu and the area Emreli the community Güzelkent was founded on 30 November 1989. July 3, 1990 Hasan Göksu (now deceased) was elected mayor. After a while the villages Tacahmet and Yusuflu of Güzelkent parted. In the next elections Sakir Sari was elected mayor. Climate

There is a Black Sea climate, with large temperature differences between summer and winter months. At high humidity, it rains mostly at night.

Vegetation

Economy

A health center directly opposite the school is present and in the 4 km away district capital Türkeli a hospital.
