The Expressway 120 ( Kor. 경인 고속 도로, Gyeongin Gosok Doro ) is an expressway in South Korea. The highway connects the city with the capital Seoul Incheon. It is 24 km long.

Street Description

The highway begins at the port of Incheon, a city with 2.6 million inhabitants. It has 2x3 lanes here and runs through Incheon, first in the north and later branching off to the east. The path then leads through the north of the city and crossed on the east side of the Incheon Expressway 100, the beltway of Seoul. The highway then passes through Bucheon, a suburb of Incheon. The highway has east of Expressway 100 2x4 lanes. The urban area of ​​Bucheon flows seamlessly into the of Seoul. The highway ends at the west side of Seoul that leads near a highway in the city.

History

Construction of the highway began on 24 March 1967, and the first section was opened on 21 December 1968 to relieve the harbor. In 1969 and 1973, the second part was opened, so that a continuous highway through Incheon was created. In 1992 and 1993, the expansion project was completed from Bucheon to Seoul so that the highway was extended to 2x4 lanes. On 17 December 1998, the part at Incheon has been extended to 2x3 lanes.
