History

The grammar school was founded in 1877 as Achern grammar school. In 1905, this expanded to junior high school and moved to a new building in 1921 and elevated to the secondary school. In 1976 the company moved to its present building; in the previous 1905 built building is now the Robert Schuman secondary school. The older part of the building is now used as a residence. Two extensions of the current building followed in 1997 and 2002. 2010 a new building was completed, which also houses a cafeteria and creative spaces.

Name
