Gżira United F.C.

The Gzira United FC is a Maltese football club from the town of Gzira. Since its founding in 1947, he played nine seasons in the highest Maltese league, the Maltese Premier League, including seven seasons in sequence from 1968 to 1975. 's Biggest success here was the 3rd place 1970 /71. The last promotion back to the Premier League succeeded in 1981. Currently Gzira United plays in the second division ( Maltese First Division ).
