Ha Ji-won

Ha Ji-won ( born June 28, 1978 in Seoul, South Korea as Jeon Hae -rim) is a South Korean actress and singer.

Ha Ji-won started her career with playing supporting roles in TV productions. Her breakthrough came in 2002 with the lead role in the horror film Phone, resembled thematically and in style to an entire division of horror films that were produced at that time in East Asia. She was nominated as Best Actress for the Blue Dragon Film Awards for her performance. This success secured her many more film offers as well as a " big star " status. A less successful attempt as a singer fell in the same year.

The petite, 1.67 m tall actress is called in Asia, " Queen of Scary Movies" and won for that arose in the 2004 TV mini- series Memories of Bali ( " Ballieseo saengkin il " ) Paeksang the Arts Award for Best Actress.
