Ha Tae-yeon

Ha Tae- yeon (born 27 March 1976) was a South Korean wrestler. In 1999 he was vice-champion in Greco-Roman flyweight.

Career

Ha Tae- yeon began as a teenager in 1985 with the rings. He was a member of Samsung Life Sports Club Seoul and insurance agent. He was trained mainly by An Jae -won. The 1.60 meter tall athlete wrestled exclusively in the Greco-Roman style, first in the flyweight and last year of his international career bantamweight. In South Korea, he had in 1997 in the two-time Olympic champion Sim Gwon Ho a not beating opponents. He therefore came in the years 1997 to 2000 only in international championships used when Sim Gwon Ho did not start.

His first international missions had Ha Tae- yeon in 1996. In that year, Sim Gwon Ho launched yet a weight class lower, in the light flyweight. In the Asia Cup 1996 in Xiaoshan / China, he came here flyweight behind Khaled Al- Faraj from Syria to 2nd place. At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, he defeated Pappu Jadav, India, then lost to poor Nasarjan, Armenia, triumphed over Khaled Al- Farj, lost to Dariusz Jabłoński, Poland and then had in the battle for 7th place again against Dariusz Jabłoński struggle, he defeated it.

1997 won Ha Tae -yeon at the East Asia Games in Busan before Nurum Dusenow, Kazakhstan and Liao Weidong from China. He came in this year at the World Championships in Wroclaw used. The next start of Ha Tae- yeon at an international championship, it was his most successful, then took first place again in 1999. He took 2nd place at the World Championships this year in Athens and thus became vice - world champion. On the way to this success, he defeated Paulo Goncalves, Portugal, Hassan Abdullah, Yemen, Boris Petrovich Radke, Belarus, shame Eddin Chudaiberdijew, Uzbekistan, Petr Svehla, Czech Republic and Rachimdschan Assembekow, Kazakhstan.
