Haacht is a municipality in the northern part of the Dijlelandes in the province of Flemish Brabant in the Kingdom of Belgium. This town has 13,894 inhabitants in Flanders. It lies on the left bank of the Dyle and comprises the main town and the two districts Tildonk and Wespelaar.

Lions is located 12 kilometers south-east, 13 km north- west Mechelen, Brussels about 24 km south-west and 30 km northwest of Antwerp.

The next highway exits are located at Weerde to the A1 / E 19 in the West and in Holsbeek on the A2 to the east. The community has a regional station on the railway line Mechelen - Leuven; located more inter alia to in Aarschot, Leuven, Mechelen and Korte mountain. The approximately 13 km from Brussels National Airport near the capital, is the nearest international airport.
