Haberberg Church

The Haber Berger Trinity Church of Königsberg was a church that has not been rebuilt after the Second World War.

The church stood on the station forecourt of the main station in Königsberg. The tower with its 77 meters was one of the most beautiful spiers of East Prussia. The organ built by Adam Gottlob Casparini was also famous.

. Due to its location south of downtown, the church survived the two air raids on Königsberg end of August 1944 During the storming of Königsberg in the spring of 1945, the church was badly damaged; the outer walls and the burnt tower still stood until the 1950s. At the site of Haberberger church today is the cinema " Oktyabr ".
