Habib Bamogo

Habib Bamogo ( born May 8, 1982 in Paris) is a football player who has the nationality of Burkina Faso and France. Since summer 2007, the striker at OGC Nice is under contract.

Career

Association

Bamogos career at Paris Saint- Germain. There he went through between 1993 and 1997, the youth sections of the capital city. In the summer of 1997, he was without a club for a year. A year later, in July 1998, Montpellier secured the services of striker. Initially in the juniors, later in the reserve team, he was able to prevail in the season 2002/ 03 and completed 33 games and scored four goals. The following season he could do with 16 goals in 38 games attention to themselves and the top teams in Ligue 1 endeavored to him. The contract was awarded Olympique Marseille and Bamogo signed a contract with the South of France in summer 2004. After he was able to highlight in the first season only 5 goals (30 games), it was decided there to give it to the new season. From 30 July 2005, he laced the shoes for 12 months for FC Nantes. For the season 2007/ 08 he returned to France and was loaned out to OGC Nice. A year later, in the summer of 2008 Bamogo finally moved the club and signed with the French league rivals. There he was in the first year to the permanent staff, and completed his first season in 35 games for the Mediterranean French. In the following years he became an audience favorite of fans of OGC Nice. 2009/10 Bamogo was often only spectators at the games of his team. His storm competitors such as Loïc Rémy, Mamadou Bagayoko Mickaël Poté and Éric Mouloungui repressed the aggressor in part to striker position four and five. After Bamogo infrequently under new coach Eric Roy was also used for the new year game, he decided during the winter break to leave the club and signed with the Turkish club Konyaspor. Since September 2011, he is promoted to the Greek Panetolikos Agrinio under contract.

National

Bamogo played between 2002 and 2003 appearances for the French U-21 national team. According to the changes of the FIFA Statutes, which came into force on August 2, 2009 he received eligible to play for the national team of Burkina Faso, as it was proved that Bamogo had completed no commitment to the national team of France and the Tribunal de Grande Instance in Ouagadougou, the Burkinabe nationality Bamogos confirmed.

On October 11, Bamogo came at the World Cup qualifier against Guinea to his first international cap and strike for Burkina Faso. Shortly thereafter, he was nominated by coach Paulo Duarte for the African Cup of Nations 2010 in Angola. There he came in the two possible matches for their team to use. His debut at the Africa Cup gave the striker on 11 January 2010 against the team of the Ivory Coast when he came off the bench for 62 minutes Narcisse Yaméogo.
