Reviews

"Can animal movies to be realistic? You could, but most are not. Lassie, Flipper, they all stir deep to the heart. They are so sweet, so true, so cute - just like Hachi, the main character in Lasse Hallström animal drama in which one can not forget the tissues. A film for the festive season, which again shows a really perfect world and a fantastically happy family. "

" Dogs embody the desire for unconditional loyalty and playful innocence. Values that many people miss in their lives. Not, however, the inhabitants of Bedridge whose gentleness and kindness in some moments of the staged illusory world of Truman Show ' recalls., Hachiko ' is much too nice in his love of harmony and his warmth of heart to be true. One can accuse the movie - or just enjoy it. Conclusion: Sensitive, a little too shallow dramedy about an unconditional love that goes beyond death - a must for dog lovers. "

" Hallström manages to make a seemingly close to kitsch changing history a fine, silent hymn to the loyalty and friendship - funny moments included. Geres representation is beneficial cautious and honest, everything radiates a soft, flowing harmony, which is underscored beautifully by the gentle music of Academy Award winner Jan AP Kaczmarek. To the stirring nobody comes around - at least no one knows the true dogs loyalty ".
