Hadban Enzahi

Hadban Enzahi ( born August 15, 1952 † 22 July 1975) was a drawn on the State Stud El Zahraa near Cairo in Egypt Original Arabian stallion. Hadban Enzahi was in the late 1950s, early 1960s, one of the founders of the Egyptian stallions drawn Arabians in Germany. Until then, the scene of Arabian thoroughbred breeding was largely dominated by the representatives of the Polish solid lines.

Purchase and import

In November 1955, a pre-purchase inspection traveled under the leadership of the then Province of Upper equerry Dr. G. Wenzler to Cairo to El Zahraa Stud State with the aim of buying original Arabs for the breeding of the main State Stud Marbach.

At the time of the acquisition committee El Zahraa was headed by General Tibor von Pettkó - Szandtner, who was formerly even as a stud commander the management of the Hungarian State Stud in Bábolna. From Szandtner was one of the few who had recognized the importance of the Eastern Arabian stallions for European breeds from the beginning.

Breeding history

In Marbach Hadban Enzahi was employed for nineteen years in the breed. He was one of the top sires of the stud, leaving a large number of offspring that were exported worldwide and won numerous awards for their owners.

Within this time succeeded Hadban Enzahi to witness only four mares a nearly twenty -strong broodmare band. This the silver herd of Marbach known as the mares were long regarded as one of the world's best and most consistent groups of dams in the Arabian breed.

Over the breed, it was found in Marbach, that a combination of the two stallions from El Zahraa brings promising offspring. How come some of the best Hadban - Enzahi descendants of Ghazal daughters. In his breeding career Hadban Enzahi brought a total of 70 registered daughters for breeding of Arabian thoroughbred horse.

Death

On 22 July 1975 Hadban Enzahi died as a result of a Hitzschlages. In honor of his achievements for the stud was created by him in 2002 by the German artist Ingo Koblischek a life-size bronze statue, which has since been issued on the grounds of the stud.
