Haddad people

The Haddad are an African ethnic group, their lives are like a caste. About 250,000 Haddad live scattered in the Sahel, Chad, Sudan and Nigeria. They live among different peoples which respective language they adopted, and offer their services. They live separately from the rest of the population and intermarry. Originally, Haddad forge, but as a result of cheap imports, this work is often disappeared, they exert various other professions. The Haddad are often despised as untouchables, often they can not own land. The Haddad are Muslims.
