Hadise

Hadise (born 22 October 1985 in Mol, acting as Hadise Açıkgöz ) is a Belgian- Turkish pop singer and television presenter, who took part in the Euro Vision Song Contest 2009.

Life

Hadise Açıkgöz grew up as the second oldest of four siblings on the Belgian moles where their originally from the Caucasus parents had emigrated in 1972 from Sivas. In 2002, Hadise won a beauty contest in her hometown and became "Miss mol " award. In 2006, she completed her marketing degree with a Bachelor 's degree.

Career

Hadise became known to a wider audience in 2003 when she participated in the Flemish talent show Idool. Although she retired, she received a record deal with 2Brain Records.

When Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, she represented Turkey with the song dum Tek Tek ( Crazy for You). For this they received from the state broadcaster TRT a sum of money amounting to YTL 450,000. Despite a cold, they eventually finished fourth in the ESC final.

She is since 2011 a member of the jury of the Turkish talent show O Ses Türkiye.
