Hadouken!

Hadouken! are a British indie Tronic / new-rave band that was formed in 2006 in Leeds by James Smith and Daniel Rice. The band's name comes from a special attack from the Versus Fighter video game series Street Fighter. They combine electronic sound with sound elements of the Nintendo Game Boys. Rice Smith and founded their own label, Surface Noise Records and released several songs of their project for the first time in February 2007.

In 2008, two of their songs came to the UK singles charts. Her album Music for Accelerated Culture reached number 12 on the charts.

January 25, 2010 her new album For the Masses was published. For this album in 2010 a total of three singles were released. The song Bombshock is also in the racing game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit contained, which was published in 2010.

On 18 October 2010 the first single, Mecha Love, her third album was released. The alternative video to Mecha Love was called up in February 2012 nearly 40 million times on the video website YouTube. The second single Oxygen was inadvertently published on the Internet Also on October 18. Officially, this single should appear only on February 14, 2011. The music video for Oxygen was released on 12 January 2011, the song is, earlier than planned, since January 18 for sale.

The studio recordings for the third studio album began on 3 January 2011. Due to problems with the music label Ministry of Sound, where the new album was supposed to appear, the publication has shifted by almost two years. On March 18, 2013, the album was released under the name Every Weekend in Hadoukens own label Surface Noise Records.
