Hadronization

According to the model of the strong interaction of each quark carries one of three color charges red, green, blue. However, there may be in nature no free particles carrying a color. Therefore, the colors of the quarks just need to cancel, so that the composite particles is colorless. Since antiparticles carry anti- color is one way a quark-antiquark pair with color and anti- color, called mesons. The other possibility is the addition of all three colors to colorless ( white), three quarks, called baryons.

Hadronization describes the process in which the quarks exactly as described in group:

  • Mesons ( quark-antiquark with color - anti- color) and
  • Baryons ( three quarks with three colors red, green, blue).
