Hærulf Runestone

It dates from the 9th century AD and is in South Jutland, on the historic Ox Road in the community Osterlügum north of the station of the village Haber Lund / Hovslund. The inscription " Hairulfr " is reminiscent of a well-known but unspecified person.

The stone in the 19th century discovered near his place today was made after the war of 1864 as well as the Idstedt Lion as spoils of war to Berlin and was from then on a hunting lodge Drei Linden. In 1951 he returned to Denmark and was placed at its current location, where it is freely accessible.

Opposite is the Strangelshøj, a Bronze Age grave mound with a stone monument
