Haflong ( Assamese: হাফলং Hāphlaṃ [ haflɔŋ ], also Haflang ) is a city in the Indian state of Assam. It is the administrative seat and largest city of the district of Dima Hasao (formerly North Cachar Hills ). The population is 35,906 ( 2001 census).

Haflong is located at an altitude of nearly 700 meters above sea level amidst the Barail Mountains. The next largest cities are Silchar 110 km south and 240 km west of Shillong. After Guwahati, the largest city of Assam, there are 368 km. Haflong is situated on a mountain ridge above the valley of the Diyung River. This is a tributary of the Kopili, which in turn flows into the Brahmaputra. The National Highway 54, the only road link through the Barail Mountains, passes by Haflong. About a meter gauge line from Silchar to Lumding Haflong is connected to the railway network.
