Hagecius (crater)

79.55

Hagecius is an impact crater in the southern lunar front side, south of the crater Rosenberger and west of Pontécoulant. The rim is eroded, the interior mostly flat, except for the two large craters B and C, which overlie the southeast area.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the Czech astronomer and physician Thaddaeus Hagecius.
