Hagetmau
Hagetmau is a commune with 4544 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the Landes department in the region of Aquitaine; it belongs to the district of Mont -de- Marsan and Canton Hagetmau.
Geography
The municipality is situated approximately 45 kilometers northwest of Pau in the landscape Chalosse. Neighboring municipalities are:
- Sainte -Colombe in the Northeast,
- Serres- Gaston and Samadet in the West,
- Monségur in the southeast,
- Lacrabe and Labastide -Chalosse in the south,
- Saint- Cricq- Chalosse and Serrelous - Arribans in the west and
- Horsarrieu in the northwest.
The city is crossed by the river Louts, the reservoir located southeast Lac d' Agès is located only partially within its area.
