Haglöfs

Haglofs is a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor equipment and claims to be the largest industry in Scandinavia.

History

The company, which operates under the umbrella of the Haglöfs AB was founded in 1914 by Victor Haglöf in a log cabin in the Swedish town of Borlänge Torsång in the community. Haglöfs initially fabricated exclusively backpacks. Was focused until the end of the 1980s the Swedish market, the company, so since there was a rapid expansion has begun. In the Nordic countries 65 percent of sales were achieved, 31 percent in the rest of Europe and four percent in Asia.
