Hagoita
A Hagoita (Japanese羽 子 板) is a Japanese bat made of wood, originally served for playing Hanetsuki, one the shuttlecock -like game for girls. Meanwhile, the Hagoita has become a pure work of art, are represented on the painted or crafted from fine fabrics images of people ( Geishas or Japanese warriors).
The Hagoita is given away, for example, at the birth of a child as a lucky charm, the evil spirits will stay away from the new earthlings.
