Xi Mang Haiphong is a football club based in Haiphong, Vietnam. Currently the club plays in the top league in the country, the V-League. Play their home games in the club Lach Tray Stadium from.
History
Was founded the club with the name Công to Haiphong as a police club of Haiphong, and he did until today several name changes. The last one was in 2007 when the club changed its name to its current name to Xi Mang Haiphong. Xi Mang is a trademark of the cement manufacturer Haiphong cement, is the sponsor of the club. 2005/06, promotion to the first division and the club celebrated immediately promoted as the 3rd place. A spectacular new addition was able to announce the club in June 2009. The former most expensive player in the world, the Brazilian Denílson de Oliveira, changed Itumbiara EC in the V-League to Xi Mang Haiphong. After just one game in which he was able to achieve a goal, he announced on his contract.
