The airport Haikou Meilan - (Chinese海口 美兰 国际 机场, Pinyin Hǎikǒu Meilan Guoji Jīchǎng, English: Haikou Meilan International Airport ) is the busiest airport on the southern Chinese island of Hainan, in the district of the provincial capital Haikou Meilan in the north of the island. At the airport operator " Hainan Meilan International Airport Co. Ltd.. " HNA Group is involved, which includes also other airports, airlines (eg Hainan Airlines), tour operators and hotels.
General
The airport was designed for the handling of large aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and has a 24-hour operation with 17 air bridges and 18 aircraft parking positions. The airport has been repeatedly chosen by the passengers for customer convenience and cleanliness for China's best airport.
