Haji Baba Sheikh

Haji Baba Sheikh ( in Kurdish Haci Baba Şêx ) was Prime Minister of the short-lived Republic of Kurdistan. After the end of the republic by the Iranian army, which conquered the Republic on 16 December 1946, he was the only one not with President Qazi Muhammad and other members of the government, on March 30, 1947 Car- Cira - Course ( Four lamp Square) hanged. This was because he was immune because of its religious viewpoint. The Kurdish journalist and poet Hemin Mukriyanî was his secretary during the time of the Republic.
