Hajime Mizoguchi

Hajime Mizoguchi (Japanese沟口 肇, Mizoguchi Hajime, born April 23, 1960 in Tokyo) is a Japanese cellist and composer. He was married to Yōko Kanno.

Life

Mizoguchi learned with three years of piano and cello at the age of eleven playing. From 1978 to 1985 he studied at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. During this time he worked as a studio musician for film, radio and CD productions. 1982 Mizoguchi was involved in a car accident he processed with the composing of music. In 1986, he released his first album Half Inch dessert.
