F1

The hydropower plant Hakavik (Norwegian Hakavik Kraftverk ) is a 1922 put into use hydroelectric power plant in Øvre Eiker in the province Buskerud in southern Norway. The power plant is located on the western shore of the lake Eikeren, which serves as underwater. From a height of 389 meters between a Lakeland on the plateau west of the power plant and the Eikeren the work by four Pelton turbines generates electricity. Three generators of 2.5 MW of this single-phase alternating current, the fourth generator with 150 kW generates 50 Hz Drehstom for self- fulfillment of demand of the power plant. Since age-related, only one of the two down pipes is available, only half of the installed capacity can be used.

The power station was commissioned by the Norwegian Central Bureau for rail transport (now Jernbaneverket ) built only generates traction power and is the starting point of the southern Norwegian traction power network, which is operated at 16 ⅔ Hz and 55 kV. A line leading to the sub-station in Sande, another to the rear derailleur sand Haugen, where a line by Asker and another line to the substation Neslandsvatn over the substation and the substation Nordagutu Skollenberg leads.

Operators of the power plant is the largest Norwegian power utility Statkraft.
