The Basant Mk II is a strutted high wing monoplane with a conventional tail unit, fixed spur wheel chassis and is powered by a 400 hp Lycoming IO -720 - C1B - radial engine. The machine has an increased cockpit to allow the pilot a good all-round visibility. Production ended in 1980 after 39 aircraft built.
