HAL Pushpak
The HAL Pushpak is a trainer aircraft of the Indian manufacturer Hindustan Aeronautics.
History and construction
The Pushpak was developed at the request of the Indian Air sports clubs. She was a abgestrebter braced high-wing monoplane, which was designed and built based on the Aeronca Chief. The fuselage was of welded steel pipes and wings made of aluminum with wooden ribs and was completely covered with fabric. The two-seater machine had a spur -wheel drive and was powered by a Continental piston engine with 67 kW. During the Indo- Pakistani War in 1971 many Pushpaks were used by the army.
