Geography
Half Lech is located in the Allgäu region. In place of the Allgäu- cycle path ends.
Expansion of the municipal area
The municipality consists of the districts Buching, Fronreitener Forestry and Trauchgau.
The municipality Halblech include the resorts:
- District Buching: Bayerniederhofen, Berghof, Bruck Schmid, Buching, Greith, Häringer port field ( port Bauer), Helfenwang, Herdweg, Hergratsried, Kniebis, laughter, Easter, pepper mountain, this rough mountain, this lake, valley, Zwiesel Ried.

History
The area of semi Lech belonged to Rentamt Munich and the court Landsberg and was part of the reign of Hohenschwangau, which is a part of Bavaria since 1567.
