Halis Özkahya

Halis Özkahya (born 30 May 1980, Kütahya ) is a Turkish football referee. He heads since 2006 Games in the highest Turkish league since 2009 and internationally for FIFA.

His debut in the Süper Lig was Özkahya on August 20, 2006 on the third Round of the 2006/07 season in a 0-0 draw. Between Torku Konyaspor and Medical Park Antalyaspor Appointed in 2009, he is now one of seven FIFA referees from Turkey. His first international assignment was the qualifier first leg against Ertis Pavlodar Haladás Szombathely in the Europa League. In 2011, he was classified by UEFA in their fourth highest Referee category "Second Group". On March 26, 2013, led the qualifying match for the 2014 World Cup in Group C between the German national football team and Kazakhstan (4:1).

Özkahya is a full gym teacher.
