Halldór Guðmundsson
Halldór Guðmundsson ( born 1956 in Reykjavík, Iceland ) is an Icelandic writer.
Life
Halldór studied literature and since 1984 as publishing director of Iceland's greatest publishing Mál above menning and the resulting post-merger publisher JPV, Forlagið. He has several books and articles published, of which the biographies of Halldór Laxness and Gunnar Gunnarsson ( Skáldalíf ) found special attention. In 2011, he was responsible for Iceland's appearance as guest country at the Frankfurt Book Fair Frankfurt.
