Halliste River

The river Halliste ( Jõgi Halliste Estonian, German Hallist, also Kariste Jõgi called ), is a 86 km long river in south-western Estonia.

The river rises in the glacial valley of Halliste Karksi - Halliste, about 3.5 km from the city Karksi - Nuia. He is a left tributary of the Navesti.

Its catchment area is about 1900 km ². The river travels a gradient of 66 m.
