The Hältersbach rises in the Odenwald at an altitude of about 239 m above sea level. NN south of the hamlet Brensbach - Mumme Roth. On the northern edge of the forest behind it bends to the southwest and runs only on the northern edge and later southward flowing on the western edge of the small wood of conifers along.
