Hamdi Dhouibi

Hamdi Dhouibi ( born January 24, 1982 in Kairouan ) is a Tunisian decathlete.

Dhouibi first drew attention in 2001 when he won the title in the pole vault at the African Youth Championships and the 110-meter hurdles was third. In the same year he finished the ten fights at the Mediterranean Games and the Games of the Francophone countries respectively in second place.

2005 Dhouibi took in Helsinki for the first time participated in track and field world championships. With the personal best of 8023 points, he finished in eleventh place and put it a new African record. In the same year he finished third at the Mediterranean Games in Almería.

At the Track - Africa Championships 2006 Bambous Dhouibi won the gold medal in the decathlon and the bronze medal in the pole vault. The same rankings reach him the following year at the Pan-African Games in Algiers. At the Track - Africa Championships in Nairobi in 2010 he won the pole vault.
