Geography

Hamfelde is located on the Bille, opposite Hamfelde in Lauenburg.

History

Hamfelde was originally founded as a settlement on both sides of Bille. Different fief allocation right and left of the Bille it was divided in the early Middle Ages in a Stormarner and a Lauenburgische community. Was first documented Hamfelde 1230.

Since the 16th century belonged to the old sovereign Hamfelde Office Trittau where it was counted among the 17 wooden villages.
