Hamid al-Din al-Kirmani

Hamid al -Din al - Kirmani (Arabic حميد الدين الكرماني / Hamid al - Din al - Kirmani, † 1020 ) was an Isma'ili ʿ ī dA and scholar.

His treatise al - Masabih fī al - iṯbāt Imama ( المصابيح في اثبات الامامة ) about the necessity of the Imamate ( إمامة / " Imama "), an Ismaili variant of the foundation of the Shiite doctrine of the Imamate, was developed by Paul E. The work was in, fond hope ' written, Fakhr al -Mulk, the vizier of the Buyids in Baghdad Shiite, to be able to convince them to let the Abbasid down and support the Fatimid caliph al -Hakim.

It was pointed out that his teaching was never adopted by the Fatimid da ʿ wa, and only the Yemeni Tayyibiten thus replaced the earlier traditional system.
