Hamid Ali-Doosti

Hamid Ali Doosti (Persian حمید علیدوستی; * January 1, 1956) is a former Iranian football player and current coach.

The striker completed in the 1986/87 season a total of 30 games for the FSV Salmrohr in the 2nd Bundesliga, scoring 10 goals.

He played the majority of his career for the Iranian club Homa FC and was 28 times for the Iran national football team in action, where he came up with 14 goals.

As a coach, he was responsible for, inter alia, Homa FC and Paykan FC (2000-2002) and the Iranian U20 National Team ( 2003-2004). Today Ali Doosti works as manager of FC Sorkhpooshan in the first Iranian league.

Private

His daughter Taraneh is a well-known actress, his son Pouyan died in March 2005 at the age of 16 years at the annual Persian fire festival Chaharshanbe Suri.
