Hana Hegerová

Hana Hegerová, civil Carmen Farkašová (born 20 October 1931 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovakian chanteuse and actress.

Life

As a child she attended the ballet and foreign language classes and dreamed of becoming an actress. A graduate of Theatre Conservatory launched under the name Hana Čelková her artistic career as an actress in Komárno on the Slovak- Hungarian border.

In the 1950s, she was invited to her agency to Prague. Here she changed her own words, " exotic " sounding names in the modest pseudonym Hana Hegerová. In initial difficulties, lack of money and icy flats she fled the theater. In 1958, she appeared as a star in the newly formed so-called " theaters of the small stages " Rococo and semaphore.
