Hancourt

Hancourt is a commune ( as at 1 January 2011) with 102 inhabitants in Somme in the Picardie region, in the north of France. The municipality belongs to the canton Roisel and is part of the municipal association Communauté de communes du canton de Roisel.

Geography

It lies at the intersection of the roads department D15 from Roisel after Vraignes -en- Vermandois and Peronne D194 direction in Vermandois. In the village is a British military cemetery.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
