Deepest lake in Poland

The Hańcza Lake is a lake in the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland.

It is located near Suwałki in northeastern Poland and has a maximum depth of 113 meters ( average depth 38.5 m) of the deepest lake in Poland. The area of the lake is 3.04 km ². The lake has a volume of 0.1204 km ³. The Hańcza Lake is suitable for diving and swimming. In Hańcza Lake still a fairly large inventory of isolated Siberian bullhead ( Cottus poecilopus ) is available.
