Handewitt (Amt)

The Office Handewitt was an office east of Flensburg in the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

The Office were members of the two communities Handewitt and Jarplund -Weding. In it lived some 10,000 inhabitants in an area of almost 80 km ². The administrative headquarters was located in Handewitt.

To March 1, 2008 merged the two communities merged to Handewitt that is amt -free and has its own local government.
