Hangama

Hangama (Persian هنگامه ) (* in Kabul ) is a popular Afghan singer. She currently lives in Canada.

In the early 1980s she was one of the most famous singers in their region. In addition to Afghanistan is also known in Iran and Tajikistan. Very little is known about her early life. You and Ahmad Wali formed a successful musical duo. Her first song in Afghanistan and its videos have been very popular. They remain classics of both Afghan music.

At an unknown date, she fled to Germany. There she married Ahmad Wali. In 1995, after her divorce from Ahmad Wali, she moved to Canada. There she married a second time. She has a son named Maseeh, from her first marriage to Ahmad Wali and a daughter named Sara from her current marriage. In 2005 she gave a concert again in Kabul.
