Hanjin Heavy Industries

Hanjin Heavy Industries ( Hangul: 한진 중공업, Hanja :韩 进 重工业, Revised Romanization Hanjin Junggongeob ) is a South Korean company with headquarters in Busan.

The company was founded in 1937 as the first Korean shipbuilding company, under the name of Chosun Heavy Industries Co. and is now a subsidiary of the Hanjin Group. As a shipyard, the company produces, among other things, container ships, convoy ships and oil tankers.
